About
Jamie’s path in beauty began as a hair and makeup artist in photography, theater, and commercials, but soon her curiosity turned to what was beneath the makeup. After studying at Lancaster School of Cosmetology, she ventured into medical aesthetics, specializing in microneedling and laser treatments. With her drive, expertise, and enthusiasm, Jamie found her calling and founded James Street MedSpa.

Her work in the treatment room revealed something bigger: a serious gap in education, consistency, and real-world training for aspiring aestheticians. That realization led her to co-found the Institute of Medical Aesthetics (IOMA), a licensed private school dedicated to raising the standard of education in the aesthetic and medical aesthetic fields. Through IOMA, Jamie oversees rigorous programs, hands-on labs, and industry partnerships designed to equip students with not only skill, but judgment, ethics, and long-term career foundations.

A New York native who’s called Pennsylvania home since 1997, Jamie now lives in Lancaster City. Family is everything to her, and she enjoys time with her two grown children and her beloved fur baby.
