Policies & Procedures

 

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that in some cases you may need to cancel your scheduled appointment. Should you need to cancel, you must notify the spa 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. If you cancel on the same day or do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged. For all services up to 30 minutes in length, the late cancellation/no-show fee will be $50. For all services over 30 minutes, the late cancellation/no-show fee will be $100.

 

Due to our cancellation policy, we will request credit card information at the time your appointments are scheduled. Should an emergency situation arise, please share that information with us. Each situation will be dealt with on an individual basis.

 

Arrival and Check-In:

New clients should arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time to allow sufficient time to complete client profile information. Repeat clients should arrive 10 minutes early to relax and prepare for your service.

Appointments cannot be guaranteed for late arrivals. To be fair to all our clients and therapists, late arrivals may not receive a full service and will be billed for the full service. Arriving early will allow you to enjoy every minute of your experience.

Scheduling:

Upon scheduling appointments, please alert us of any allergies, medical conditions, medications, or if you happen to be pregnant.

 

Spa robes and slippers are available to make your multiple-service spa experience more comfortable.

 

We will provide a reminder email or text a day before your service unless you request otherwise.

 

All our therapists are highly skilled professionals and are well-trained in draping techniques to provide you with the utmost comfort.

Financial Policies:

Skincare products may be returned, unopened, up to 14 days from the date of original purchase. For health reasons, we are unable to accept returns on makeup. We do not offer refunds on services rendered. No exceptions.

 

Prices and Services are subject to change without notice.

Gratuity is optional and is not included in our pricing.

 

Children:

 

Although we love children, their presence in the treatment area can be disruptive to our staff and other spa guests. Please do not leave children unattended in the reception area. Children are not permitted in any treatment room or relaxation area.

PA State Law requires a parent or legal guardian to be physically present in the room during the treatment of a minor (under 18 years of age).

Gift Cards:

Our gift cards can be purchased at the spa, over the phone, or on our website at JamesStreetMedSpa.com. Gift cards are not returnable, refundable, or redeemable for services or retail. They are not redeemable for cash or for the purchase of other gift cards. James Street MedSpa is not responsible for lost or damaged gift cards. The value of the gift card may be exchanged for services and/or products. Gift cards are not valid for gratuities.

Use of gift cards can be redeemed only at James Street MedSpa. These cards cannot be exchanged for cash, check, or credit. Please treat these cards like cash; if they are lost or stolen, they will not be replaced. Spend More; Save More gift cards are redeemable for all James Street MedSpa services except services provided by our medical director, AviClear, and discounted services.

Gratuity:

While gratuity is not expected, it is greatly appreciated.

 

Unfortunately, we do not accept gratuity on a credit card. Instead, we will supply small envelopes for cash tips and Venmo codes for digital exchange.

 

All gratuity goes directly to the service providers. Thank you in advance.

Parking:

We have four individual spaces in front of our building's garage.

 

Validated parking is also available in the North Queen St. Garage. Below is a view of the designated spaces in reference to our business.
